The Tom Barnard Show is a daily online talk show, live from 3-5 PM central time. We have daily guests ranging from authors to actors with plenty of comedians. Tom, the host, has been a radio legend for nearly three decades. Along for the ride are his wife, Kathryn, his daughter, Alex, his son, Andy, and Don Shelby, unrelated but there he is anyway.
Though we’re (mostly) related, this show is far from the Patridge Family. Don and Tom in particular are happy to create bold new definitions for your favorite profanities, especially when we have particularly…let’s say “colorful” guests on the show. As a result this show is strictly 18+, although we have no way to enforce that so do whatever you want I guess.
While we’re live we pay close attention to the chatroom. No, seriously, Andy is always there and he’ll pass interesting thoughts and questions to the rest of the cast.
How to listen
The easiest way to listen to the show is to head over to our home page, conveniently named tombarnardshow.com. Here you can click the play button next to “Listen to the Tom Barnard Show LIVE” and use the power of electricity to hear us through your speakers while we’re on the air. When we’re not live, or “dead” as my mortician tells me the opposite of live is, just scroll down a bit and you’ll discover our archived episodes. You can listen all the way back to the very beginning if you so choose.
You can also watch us at our Youtube channel, where we stream video at the same time as the show. The professionals call it simulcasting, but we don’t. Youtube has back logs too, but it doesn’t go back all the way because it took a few months to locate the power button on our cameras. What you’ll get on Youtube is largely the same as the audio stream but plus the ability to see us, which is really something.
You can also check us out on iTunes, where the most recent 25 episodes are kept safe. Then the next day we shovel the oldest two episodes into a mass grave to make room for the new. Subscribe to the RSS feed to make sure you don’t miss anything. Or else! Also feel free to write a review or give us a billion star rating so people know what the score is.
As we are keenly aware that this is the 21st century, we also have an app. You can still go to our site on your phone if you want, but you might find it easier to use the app’s convenient scrolling interface and listen live button designed to fit on your phone real good. Like the show itself, it’s a free download, so you might as well, right?
