Comedy legend Louie Anderson is at it again – this time with his own podcast. Look for episodes featuring Louie’s friends from the comedy world and Las Vegas.
The Mischke Roadshow is an on-line guided tour through life itself. It was conceived of as a way to get radioman TD Mischke out of the studio. Too many years of this had left him longing to get outdoors. Instead of bringing life into a radio studio, he yearned to head out and meet it on its own terms. He wanted to find some road and let the show catch the wind; be taken, directed, diverted, and steered by the Gypsy call.
So, each week, you’ll find a brand new podcast featuring conversations with people from all walks of life; a kaleidoscope of musings, observations, and stories from your host, and the many people he meets along the road.
Ron Rosenbaum, attorney, longtime radio host and true Twin Cities character and his co-host, journalist Lucy Quinlivan are Holding Court Thursdays at 2.00 pm at HoldingCourtPodcast.com. The podcast, part of the Tom Barnard Podcast Network, will also be available for download 24/7 on the net on iTunes. The two outspoken hosts pontificate weekly on topics ranging from law and politics to media, sports and entertainment.
As anyone who’s heard Ron knows, he can spot hypocrisy a mile away has never shied away from controversy. But fun and entertainment is the name of the game and this show, like Ron’s previous shows on Twin City radio, will feature biting commentary and laughs galore. Ron, a St.Paul native (and hometown chauvinist) can be found on the golf course, at the racetrack and, hopefully, in a warmer climate come December. His rather unfocused career includes stints teaching in the basement of Central High School, handling discipline at South Boston High School during the busing crisis (and reign of Whitey and Billy Bulger) as well as practicing law and working as a journalist for the Boston Globe. He also unloaded boxcars and washed dishes (the last two jobs he actually mastered).
Lucy hails from the western suburbs and misspent her youth on the left coast before editing the Minnesota Daily and reporting and editing for the St. Paul Pioneer Press. She’s also a confirmed media and Netflix junkie and equally important—quite easy on the eyes.
Renowned celebrity matchmaker, relationship coach and love architect Kailen Rosenberg takes to the airwaves with her years of experience to help single and attached people find, enjoy and get a kick out of love – along with some news, gossip and sass. Producer Kelly Guest chimes in. Listen live Fridays atnoon central. On demand at www.thelovehappyhour.com, YouTube, and iTunes.
Carl Franklin is a retired farmer from Inver Grove Heights who took a shine to comedy. As a long-time caller to many Twin Cities radio shows, Carl knows his way around a microphone. Information conversation is what Carl’s Corner is all about. Hear it like the old days, from the good and not so good of Americas Heartland. Carl brings you all the news of the day and a little more that you didn’t know about.
Terry Sandvold has been hosting “Money Talks” on Twin Cities radio stations for over 14 years and he debuts his message on the web here on the Tom Barnard Podcast Network. Terry explains how he got started and what Sandvold and Associates is about in his inaugural podcast show.
The Daily Agenda is a morning podcast weekdays hosted by longtime media and business analyst Blois Olson. The Daily Agenda brings to life a behind the scenes point of view through dynamic conversations with newsmakers and insiders. Guests are pushed to have insight on the issues of the day in business, politics and the Twin Cities scene. In addition to The Daily Agenda, Fluence Media produces daily news insights on politics, business, agriculture, the law and other topics. Insightful conversation rather than inciting confrontation creates a unique voice in today’s news discussion.
Wrong About Everything is a fun, bipartisan, irreverent – and, hell, downright profane look at Minnesota politics, featuring two liberals and two conservatives, all of them funny or annoying, depending on your perspective. This is not your father’s political talk show. Available every Monday morning for download. Join the political bandwagon and listen to Javier Morillo, Brian McDaniel, Denise Cardinal, and Mike Franklin.
