Tone Bell politely declines to ask why the studio smells like Chris Farley.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Bell began his career in Dallas, where he was voted one of the Funniest Comics in Texas. His real-life brand of comedy has seen him succeed on the festival circuit and garner accolades at NBC as the winner of the Stand-Up For Diversity program. Most recently, Bell was featured on VH1’s “Single Ladies,” in commercials for Miller Lite, Verizon NFL Mobile and on his “Watch the Tone” college tour. In addition, he was featured in the docu-style Dodge Dart commercial for Spike TV’s tribute to Eddie Murphy. Bell now resides in Los Angeles and continues to perform stand-up across the country.

Tom spends the majority of the episode showering Jack with compliments and some of it asking him questions.
Jack Jablonski was a sophomore at Benilde-St. Margaret’s High School in St. Louis Park, MN when a hit during a high school hockey game on Dec. 30, 2011 caused an injury to his spinal cord (High Tetraplegia to the C4 vertebrae). The initial prognosis was grim, and Jack is still unable to control muscles from his chest down. But his progress has been steady because of the recovery therapies that were available for him, first at Abbott Northwestern Hospital’s Sister Kenny Institute and then at Courage Center in Golden Valley, Minnesota.

Tim talks about the state of the Twins today and why it be like it is.
After playing baseball for Park Center High School in Brooklyn Park, MN, Laudner was drafted in 1976 by the Cincinnati Reds in the 33rd round, but did not sign. After four years at the University of Missouri, Laudner was drafted by the Twins in the 3rd round of the 1979 draft. Assigned directly to the AA Orlando Twins, Laudner would hold his own in his first season in the Twins’ organization, hitting .241 in 45 games. The following year, he would split his time between Orlando and Single-A Visalia and despite a .227 batting average he would hit 12 home runs for the season. Back at Orlando in 1981, he would put up a monster season, hitting 40 home runs while hitting .284 and earning an August call-up with Twins where he would hit 2 more homeruns in 14 games. Despite spending 20 games in 1982 at AAA Toledo, Laudner would be called up to the Twins for good.

It just keeps on going. Well, not really, because this is the end of this episode.
Cy Amundson has quickly established himself as one of the nation’s fastest rising stand-up comedians. He was a standout performer as a New Face at last summer’s Montreal Just For Laughs Festival and recently made his television debut on Conan. Named CMT’s Next Big Comic for 2011, Cy has been on the Bob and Tom Show and has performed in the Aspen Comedy Festival, Seattle International Comedy Competition, and the Great American Comedy Festival in Johnny Carson’s home town of Norfolk, NE.
Starting comedy on a whim at an open mic in the year 2000, Mike has since devoted his life to perfecting the delivery of his high-energy act. Bucking the trend of the apathetic comedian, his genuine passion for his craft draws audience members into the unique world of Mike Brody: An affable, clever guy whose life is often derailed by his own neurotic, obsessive-compulsive and clumsy tendencies. He has worked with Dave Attell, Emo Philips, Doug Stanhope, Doug Benson, and legendary street performer/madman/savant Wesley Willis, and hosted ten episodes of the Minneapolis TV series The Buzz. He is the official event comedian for the SyFy Channel’s TV show “Ghost Hunters”. He has also appeared on the nationally syndicated radio program “The Bob & Tom Show.”

As Brad’s father taught him, so he teaches us: it is about winning or losing and nothing else.
Williams was born with Achondroplasia, a type of dwarfism. His condition plays a large part in the bits in both his stand-up comedy and television roles. He was a student at Sunny Hills High School in Fullerton, California and after graduation, he attended the University of Southern California but dropped out to pursue his acting and comedy career. Williams got his start by attending a Carlos Mencia live comedy show. While he was in the crowd Mencia made jokes about dwarfs. The people sitting close to Williams were scared to laugh. Mencia noticed this, then noticed Williams and he asked Brad to join him on stage. Brad cracked a few jokes and impressed Mencia. Mencia then asked Williams to try stand-up and be his opening act on the road. Brad has been Mencia’s opening act ever since, opening up shows on both the Mind of Mencia tour and the popular Punisher Tour.

His stage personality is made up of the sexual prowess of Prince, the funky style of James Brown, and the animation and expression of Little Richard. He is known to break into verse and recite poetry at his shows, in ode to himself, of course.
